The culture blends Buddhist tradition with respect for ancestors and everyday beauty: lanterns lit on the water, pagodas rising from marble caves, rituals honoring the compassion of Quan Âm, the Divine Mother also known as Kwan Yin. The cuisine, fresh and aromatic, comes from respect for the land and its cycles. Each dish performs a dance of balance where the body is nourished and the soul is healed. Cambodia preserves the great mandala of Angkor Wat, aligned with ley lines, forming a vast Portal of Cosmic Energy. This pilgrimage through sacred geography awakens our creative power and the ability to activate the memory of the soul. Hospitality is a key aspect of this luminous culture. Its Theravada Buddhism cultivates inner peace, gratitude, and equanimity.

During this pilgrimage you will learn the foundations of Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism, and have the opportunity to practice meditation techniques with monks in the temples. Buddhism teaches that suffering dissolves when we cultivate mindfulness, tranquility, and loving-kindness. The energy of these Sacred Lands, thousands of years of meditation, and compassionate philosophy invite us to remember the Wisdom of the Heart and to experience what the ancients called “metta” — the pure vibration of universal love.

We will explore ancient temples and landscapes of extraordinary spiritual energy. At Angkor Wat, the great stone mandala of Cambodia, you will feel the transformative presence of the Portal of Light. In Vietnam, we will navigate Ha Long Bay, where mountains rise from the water like ancestral guardians, and visit Buddhist temples that house ancient statues of Quan Âm or Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion.
