DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS: A non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit can be made by credit card at no extra charge. The final payment is due 60 days prior to your departure date. It is the traveler's (or agent's) responsibility to ensure that the final payment reaches us on time. Reservations made within 30 days of departure will require full and final payment immediately after booking. No reservation will be considered until the company receives the final deposit. Payments must be made via bank transfer, Zelle or credit card. A 5% surcharge applies if paying by credit card. Any additional bank transfer fees are the traveler's responsibility. Please inquire about this before making your bank transaction.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: Cancellation must be received in writing or via email. Due to high preparation costs, cancellations must be received in writing within 60 days prior to the travel date. Cancellations received 60 days or less before departure will not be refunded. No refunds will be given for transfers, city tours, or any other services (including meals, accommodations, or transportation) not taken by the traveler's decision. The itinerary is subject to changes to accommodate possible alterations in domestic flight schedules or other unforeseen circumstances. The content will remain the same, barring unforeseen complications, and many pleasant surprises will be included.

INSURANCE: Travel insurance is mandatory. Many companies offer insurance at a reasonable cost for trip costs, trip cancellation and interruption, and coverage for unforeseen circumstances, death, injury, or illness. It also includes coverage for missed flight connections due to weather, baggage delays, travel delays, medical expenses, and emergency assistance. We encourage you to research and compare different companies and purchase your mandatory insurance.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: By registering for the tour, you agree to our terms, deposit conditions, and release Sacred Land Travels, and Tour facilitators from liability. The entire organizing team has worked diligently to make all arrangements for our trip together in Nepal and Bhutan. However, Sacred Land Travels, its agents, and Tour facilitators will not be responsible for delays, theft, damage, injury, or any other irregularity that may occur during the course of the trip. We will not be responsible for any changes or delays in airline schedules or missed connections; injuries, losses, or damages to persons or property; additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs, or itinerary; any transportation issues or problems with the vehicles used on the tour; additional expenses incurred due to illness, weather conditions, protests, war, terrorism, quarantine, or other causes; and losses due to cancellations not subject to our terms and conditions.

Sacred Land Travels reserves the right to exclude any participant from the journey if their behavior is violent, aggressive, disrespectful, or poses a threat to the safety, well-being, or harmony of the group, the organizers, or the facilitators. This measure may be enforced at any time during the program, without the right to a refund, in order to protect the integrity of the group.

I understand that I must send Sacred Land Travels a photo showing that my passport is valid, expiring more than 6 months after the return date. I understand that I will send Sacred Land Travels my flight and travel itinerary to Kathmandu as soon as I have completed my airfare booking. I will be responsible for ensuring that I have all the proper documentation in order well in advance of my departure. I understand I am responsible for finding information in my country of residence about the necessary requirements to enter Nepal and Bhutan (visa, vaccines, etc.).
